Sunday School:
May 16: Last Sunday school class till September.
May 23: CHILDREN’S SUNDAY - The Children’s Church will lead worship for the church family.
June 6-Sept 12: Children will start in worship each week (Grades 3 and below will have an
opportunity to leave worship to go to a large group lesson or video.)
PF 5+6:
May 16: After worship/Junior Choir - write poems or cards for the residents of Avon Health Center, eat lunch, then
hopefully deliver our notes/poems. (Sometimes we are unable to visit because of public health concerns.)
Confirmation & MHPF:
May 2: 11:00AM - Pastor’s Gathering: Re-thinking Worship
May 16: 5PM (8th Grade only) - Chapter 7 “Statement of Faith;” Grade 8 students will prepare their Personal Faith
Statement.
May 23: 11:00 - The 8
th Graders will join Pastor Brian and the Deacons to read and discuss our Faith Statements. (This is
required for Confirmation
. Make-ups need to be pre-scheduled except in emergency situations.)
June 13: 7:30 AM - 7
th graders set up and prepare breakfast for the 8th grade confirmands and their families.
8:30 - Confirmation breakfast served in Fellowship Hall 9:30 - Confirmation Ritual for 8
th grade confirmands will be part of the worship service.
TFG-ACCtions & HSSS May 2: 9:30 Worship, Communion Sunday; 4:30-7:30 (or until clean up is completed) - prepare for, serve and clean up after the Appreciation Dinner at ACC May 9: 9:30 - Church, HSSS and help with Sunday School (Mother’s Day) May 16: 9:30 - Church, Last HSSS until September & last Sunday school classes to help with. May 23: 9:30 - Children’s Sunday, worship with family; 3-5PM - Whirly Ball, followed at 6PM by a Picnic. This will be the final TFG-ACCtions event scheduled with Mr. V.
